#2 DRINK A GLASS OF WATER
Don’t reach for that cup of coffee just yet. Refresh your body with a glass of water.
#3 MAKE YOUR BED
In the military, part of basic training is learning how to make a bed. The military has standard operating
procedures for everything, including bed making. Making your bed, right after getting out of bed, set your day in forward motion.
Just ask yourself if today was my last day, would | want to spent it how I’m about to right now?
- Tell yourself you will make the best of today.
- Spend time alone with your thoughts. Either practice meditation or sit
quietly for a few minutes.
.. Get your body moving, first thing in the morning and stay active throughout the day.

- Go for a jog
- Take a yoga class or do any physical
activity of your choice
